Revell Harvester
Working model of a combine harvester with accessories
These farm toys were made as a part of a farm play set for Revell, a German toy manufacturer. The wheelbarrow, spade and pitchfork are exclusively my own work and design, while I merely modelled the cockpit on the harvester. The main challenge of this project was to respect the design guidelines of an already existing range of toys and to make the individual parts as simple as possible for casting. The work on the harvester was particularly demanding, because it features technical parts, such as a hinged roof and a working steering wheel, but also because the finished model still had to fit the parts made by my colleagues who worked on the other parts of the harvester simultaneously.
